  • Our products are mild, and only contain ingredients that you can pronounce – simple and natural.

  • We make pure soap. Sounds obvious, but did you know the bar in your shower is probably a detergent (synthetic, possibly irritating, full of nasty chemicals from who-knows-where)? Take a look – it is probably labeled a “cleansing bar” or “moisturizing bar” not soap. (Only a substance that has been created through saponification may be labeled soap).
  • In the process of soap making, glycerin is produced. Commercial manufacturers remove the glycerin from their soap to use in other products (like lotion). This “soap” without the glycerin can leave your skin dry and itchy – you then need lotion to re-moisturize. Sounds fishy, eh? Our handmade soap retains all of the natural glycerin so your skin stays soft and pampered.
  • The LilyPad uses all food-grade vegetable oils in the production of our products – the result is a mild, decadent treat – one of life’s affordable luxuries.
  • The LilyPad uses only sustainably harvested and processed palm oil.
  • The LilyPad is dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint, and utilizes local materials and ingredients in our products whenever possible.
  • The LilyPad reuses, recycles, and composts to reduce our waste as much as we can.
  • If you return our Aromatherapy Mist or Moisturizer bottles to us, we will sterilize and reuse them – and give you a 15% discount on your next mist purchase!
